Join us on the 18th of February for a social gathering followed by the viewing of the 2040 Film at the Reading Film Theatre

Here are the details:

What is the 2040 film?

It’s an inspirational film, with the central premise of the documentary looking at ‘2040’, a story of hope that looks at the very real possibility that humanity could reverse global warming and improve the lives of every living thing in the process. It is a positive vision of what ‘could be’, instead of the dystopian future we are so often presented.

The best thing to do is probably to watch the trailer.

Timing: Meet up from 6.30pm at the Park House Bar (University of Reading) following by the viewing at Reading Film Theatre (on campus) at 8pm. Please allow arriving about 15min before the viewing starts.

Tickets: £8 per person. You can book here directly.

Where: Reading Film Theatre, Palmer Building G10. For sat navs use  RG6 6UR. The number 21 bus from Reading Station and Town centre stops on campus.

Car parks:
Free parking on campus after 5.30pm.
2, 3, 4 or 9 (if meeting at Park House first, then walk to Palmer Building)

The map at this link shows all of the above in section C4

Feel free to share the viewing. The greater reach, the better.

The event is finished.
