A GREAT PRACTICAL OPPORTUNITY TO CoNNECT, LEARN AND SHARE ON CLIMATE CHANGE ACTION AND SOLUTIONS!
The Climathon movement’s 24-hour climate change hackathon is organised simultaneously in major cities around the world. Climathon 2017 is set to be the biggest hackathon of its kind in world history, taking place in 75+ cities around the world on 27th October.

Climathon London is focussing on one of London’s toughest challenges – urban mobility.  Specifically, how London integrate developing advanced mobility approaches into it’s mobility ecosystem.

They’re inviting all to get involved – either forming a Climathon team or go as an individual.  Climathon provides the opportunity for you to develop your ideas with world leading experts, pitching your ideas to potential investors at the end of the event, with the winning team receiving support to develop their idea further.

 

Take the opportunity to join 1,000s around the world and have a global impact with a 100 free spaces open to students and SMEs from in and around London.

  • Climathon will be held in Plexal – one of Europe’s largest innovation centres. Starting at 11:00 on 27thOctober, running for 24 hours.
  • During the event there will be talks from a range of industry, business, marketing, innovation and finance experts to help teams develop businesses, who will also be around for networking
  • The latest data provided by Copernicus, TfL, DfT and others will be available for participants
  • Participants will be joining a community of 1000’s across over 100 global cities, and connections between participants in different cities will be made
  • Each team will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to potential investors, with the winning teams getting support to help develop their ideas
  • Free food from some of East London’s finest will be provided for all participants
